I've got to be honest here don't take it the wrong way.. IMHO that looks terrible. Completely tacky and tasteless. Doesn't suit the car at all.

But then again I'm sure people could say the same about some of the things I like on my cars so each to their own.

I appreciate it, I just wanted to do something different I hated the pillars and handles stock and then just did the mirrors to see what it would look like but yeh for now they are staying I want to see what it will look like when its finished and go from there

Airbag light has returned. this occured a few months ago and was fixed (diagnostics said it was low resistance or something)
hoping that it is something as simple as this again simply for a price factor.

Car is going in tomorrow i will be sure to update.
according to a mechanic friend of mine this is a common problem in the past 6 months he has had this at least 5 times.
hopefully this does not mean that i have a much bigger problem (considering i had the low resistance fixed a couple of months ago.

All fixed they did it for me for free as they fixed it last time and it came back... Was the same thing low resistance (passenger side)

Looking to buy a set of 18'' Omanyt's (Have PM'd a forum member awaiting reply)
If i purchase these wheels i will be Plasti-Diping them Black with light gloss or possibly matt finish, if i dont like how it turns out i will simply remove it hence plasti-dip instead of getting them sprayed
I havnt managed to find a picture of black omanyts on a United grey Golf to see how it will go with the car so if anyone has one please link me

Also probably just after xmas i will be ordering Neuspeed sport springs, any feed back would be apreciated as i am also looking at the VWR springs as they are made for the stock suspension but the drop it only about 20mm again feedback apreciated!
Pictures of both on a MK5 would be even better to accompany the feedback!

springs without new struts will destroy the standard struts a lot quicker
Also black on united grey will look a little to dark, better off leaving them silver imo. It will contrast better

Thanks guys, yeh thats why i was thinking about the VWR Springs they are designed to go with the stock struts. but only 20-25mm drop... can put a back pack in the boot and get better drop

Thinking about just going the neuspeed then replacing the struts at a later date... because i dont wanna be a 4WD with some 18' wheels for too long while i save for a package with shocks and springs
